We’re thrilled to introduce an exciting addition to our 2024 Parade of Homes: a Scavenger Hunt! Only homes open during the Parade Tour on October 5th/6th and 12th/13th will participate. Each Parade Home has selected a unique design feature for you to discover. Find the feature in each home, complete the form, and submit it to the Blue Ridge Home Builders Association via email or mail. Enter for a chance to win fantastic prizes generously donated by the Parade of Homes Builders! Please read the official rules below.
2024 Parade of Homes Scavenger Hunt Official Rules
1. Eligibility:
The scavenger hunt is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees, officers, and directors of the Blue Ridge Home Builders Association (BRHBA), their immediate family members, and household members are not eligible to participate.
2. How to Enter:
Participants must visit the properties on the 2024 Parade of Homes and complete the scavenger hunt form which is found in the magazine or online (this will be released ahead of the event.)

All entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST on Friday, October 18, 2024.
3. Entry Requirements:
Only one entry per person is allowed.
Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.
By submitting an entry, participants agree to comply with these Official Rules.
4. Selection of Winners:
Winners will be selected at random from all completed forms.
The drawing will take place on or before Friday, October 25, 2024.
Winners will be notified by email or phone no later than Friday, October 25, 2024.
5. Prizes:
A variety of prizes will be awarded to the winners. The exact nature and number of prizes will be disclosed at a later date.
Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions will be made except at the discretion of BRHBA.
All taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners.
6. General Conditions:
BRHBA reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the scavenger hunt, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond BRHBA's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the scavenger hunt, as determined by BRHBA in its sole discretion.
BRHBA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the scavenger hunt or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
7. Limitations of Liability:
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless BRHBA, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the scavenger hunt or receipt or use of any prize.
8. Disputes:
Except where prohibited, participants agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the scavenger hunt or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Virginia.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, participants' rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of BRHBA in connection with the scavenger hunt, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
9. Privacy:
Personal information collected from participants will be used by BRHBA for the purpose of administering the scavenger hunt and notifying winners and will not be sold or shared in any manner with third parties.
By participating in the scavenger hunt, you acknowledge that you have read and understand these Official Rules and agree to be bound by them.
